Reading hills like white elephants, I have been thinking about the way men act towards the women now a days. He is selfish to this girl. How the man feels nothing towards this child that she is carrying. And i think back to now a days there are still men such like him, some that find out they have kid an just care only for how this affects his life an doesn't think or really care about how this would also affect the women's life. it pisses me off then as i got farther in to the story how both the man an girl seem like they don't have the best relationship how the connection between them is drinks an not spending time in the same place always moving. this story makes me think why even try?
why is it that when men don't want what the women wants he is selfish ? why do you give the women a pass ? She doesn't care about him or his feelings, she begs him to just "shut up", I would like to know your opinion J.
