My thoughts on "Story of an hour". In the first part of the story Ms. Mallard was given terrible news of her husbands death. When i read this a feeling of grief overcame me. As i read on, the story got much deeper. Ms mallard's mood changed in many ways, as did mine As i got to the middle of the story my thought changed, instead of me thinking that she would never pull herself out of this spiral of sadness she did. There is a point in the story where she goes through a big change in the story it reads "She would life for her self." he i sensed her change as the quote goes on. "There would be no powerful will bending hers in that blind persistence with with men an women believe they have a right impose a Private will upon a fellow creature." this quote turned my whole perspective an what i know of her as a person. Ms mallard changed she would no longer be the person she was she will life for her. these are just some of my thoughts on the story. "Story of an hour" by Kate Chopin bio.
